This year I decided to go to two days of the Memorial Tournament practice rounds, in the ever temperate central Ohio area climate. According to the weatherman, today was supposed to be the best day of the practice rounds, with 0% chance of rain. And he was 100% correct until it started raining.
By 10AM we had taken shelter to wait out the rain delay. Sitting with a nice couple from the Westerville area, we learned the course was supposed to be shut down until 12:30. ‘We’, by the way, means my son Matthew and I. Since he has been showing an interest in golf I decided to take him along to watch the pros play. So he got a quick dose of what the Memorial is all about!

Fortunately practice resumed around 11:30 AM. It wasn’t the best day to photograph golf, but it wasn’t horrible either, especially once the remains of the storms blew past.
