The other day I went to the observation deck at Highbanks and immediately noticed two eagles sitting in a tree near their nest. As I was chatting with some other visitors on the deck, one of the eagles took flight toward some trees on our side of the river. It turns out there was an immature eagle (I believe) sitting in one of the trees. After a quick dog fight, the two eagles each landed in separate trees.

 
A short time later, the mature bald eagle circled the deck.
